Before anyone starts condemning long-term pro-gun Representatives, you need to first recognize that everything that we have been warning about the Dutton/Huffines amendment is absolutely true.

None of these arguments are valid - it has never been a problem in any other state with open carry. It's all bogus bloviating.
The guy that is speaking now is being ridiculous.

Hello, if they are not a threat what are you getting all worked up about? Talk about profiling? This is the ultimate profiling.

I am not criticizing anyone here. I am watching the process. I stated a long time ago I have no problem with ID'ing. I think the general concern here is abuse by anti 2a, like APD.. I'll go back to watching now.. Keep up the good work all, do your best.
I think at this point, nothing we have to say is going to be considered unless it is negative anyway..

It's blatantly dishonest to claim that police cannot ask. Police can ask whatever they want. They can try to engage in conversation with a potential suspect. Just because Open Carriers aren't obligated to display the license doesn't mean police cannot engage in different ways (including small talk).

I'm going to assume that means the inclusion of the amendment puts the bill in jeopardy when it hits the Governor's desk.

EXACTLY!!
If an officer chose to politely strike up a conversation the majority of License holders would not refuse to answer any reasonable questions.
