As usual, I have fallen behind in greetings. So to all of the new members, WELCOME TO THE FORUM. We are glad to have you here. There are a lot of great folks with a wealth of information here. The good thing is, no one minds sharing that information.
And to those that are serving or have served, THANK YOU.

Hi fellow Texans!
I am so glad that I found this forum and I bookmarked it right away.
I have been monitoring all of the great info for about 3 weeks now.
I am 47 years old, happily divorced

and reside in San Antonio. I am ex US Army and now a assembly production supervisor. I've had to open and close for business alone very early and very late.
I've had my carry permit for about 4 months now along with my G23 w/ two 13-round magazines loaded with Federal 165gr Hydrashocks.

Hello all! WONDERFUL forum and community you have going here! I have been reading all of the great information here for the past month or so. I thought I would join in and possibly contribute what little I can.
I am 28 years old. Married for 6 years and have a wonderful 3 year old daughter.
We live just north of Queen City, Tx near Texarkana.
I have recently submitted my CHL application and received my PIN.
I plan to carry my Glock 19(and thinking HARD about getting a 1911).
Well, thats it. I look forward to having discussions with all of you!

Welcome, Will!
We won't hold it against you for being from Cass County.
Tote9 is in Bloomburg, and pistolchamp is in Texarkana (a couple of blocks into Arkansas). And I'm in Nash.
One of these days we'll have to try a NE Texas get-together.

Tote 9 will vouch for me. I lived in Atlanta long enough to get in that get together. Welcome aboard Will & we are glad to have you. Really good to have another country boy.
Man all these Big City" guys are outnumbering us bad. They are fine folks though. We get to live where they wish they could.
Keep thinking on that 1911.

You will love it.

Thank you Tote! I am across the highway from the DPS weigh station on the Carver Bluegrass Road on the west side of 59. I used to live near Bloomburg until we purchased our current home.
It has been difficult finding shooting partners of late. Just me, the glock and the AR15

. Where do you usually go?
I would be honored to fire your 1911! I love 'em. I've been going up to Paul's in New Boston (I love that place) a lot lately, its probably just a matter of time. I cant decide which one I want to get (read: how much I want to spend)!

Hello Fellow Texans,

Still deciding what to carry. I have several guns (Glock 21, Ruger Speed Six 38 Special, Beretta Model 70 .32, Beretta Bobcat .22), but nothing really seems to fit the bill for CC, so I am in the decision making process on what to buy to carry. So many guns to choose from, so little cash.
This forum is great. It makes the waiting so much more fun.
