Live feed starting shortly. Not sure how deep into the day before HB1927 comes up. I don't think they necessarily go in order but on the intent calendar it's the last item on a 5 page list.

Well it was on the Intent Calendar for today but it looks like they adjourned for the day before getting to it. Hopefully it's still on the Intent Calendar tomorrow. I don't know if it's a common thing to put a bill on the intent calendar and then never get to it.
There were plenty of other bills they didn't get to yet so it wasn't just that one left.

I'm told that typically it has to be on the intent calendar for 3 calendar days (Senate rule) before it can be heard on the floor. I saw it on the calendar before midnight, so it MIGHT be heard tomorrow. We shall see. I've also seen that Senator Nichols (who was one of the few who had not expressed a public opinion), has come out in support of HB 1927.

Even if you have reservations about constitutional carry, this sends a big message to politicians in Washington that one more state is saying NO to additional gun control laws.

I noticed the official "on the intent calendar" date on the Legislature website was 5/4.

Sadly, he's my senator :-/ He will never change his spots on gun control.

If an abusive husband was willing to beat (and kill?) his wife/ex-wife, re: domestic violence concerns, he's not going to refrain from carrying his pistol because of a protective order.
