You can update the map to add "A" to Ohio.

AZ and OH renegotiated their agreement and OH will now recognize AZ non-resident licenses. So a Texan can now carry in OH with an AZ license.

Thanks for the heads up. Looks like this happened late last year.

http://www.ohioattorneygeneral.gov/geta ... ement.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

And from other sources, the good news is "Ohio and Arizona have signed a new agreement and have removed that reference so Ohio will now honor any permit/license issued by the state of Arizona. "

I will update the map soon and post. Thanks.

I can't find what the difference is between "Honors TX Permit" (yellow) and "Reciprocity with TX" (green). Can someone explain, and/or maybe add an explanation to Post #1.

MN & WI honor permits from all states. However, Texas does not have a reciprcity agreement with those two states, so Texas does not honor a MN or WI permit.

Thank you Keith B for straightening me out. I was not firing on all cylinders when I posted at 7am. :oops:

Thank you for the reminder, been waiting for the Texas DPS site to update, but haven't seen the update yet. But it probably is time to update the map, since it is official from the Ohio law perspective.

Thanks for all your work on this, but shouldn't Ohio be yellow?

They now honor our license, but Texas does not honor theirs?

We appreciate everything you do to keep us up to date!

I thought about that, but Texas did sign a reciprocity agreement with Ohio, it just hasn't been posted to the DPS site yet. So I may be a little early with the "green", but it will be "green".

Thanks for doing this Ryan. Your map is a great resource for the CHL community and I demonstrate it in all of my CHL classes. :tiphat:

Chas.

Thanks Charles. I'm happy to help, and glad that people enjoy / use the map.

However, hopefully someday we won't need the map. :txflag: Texas continues to make great progress. Look at the map from 2006 to now.

Texas has come a long way, can't wait to turn the whole country "green"..... :)
