Playa del Carmen, maybe not a place to visit.

March 7, 2023

4 American tourists from NC visiting visiting Mexico across from Brownsville were attacked and kidnapped just after entering Mexico. Apparently they were racially profiled and assumed to be Haitian smugglers. 2 are dead. RIP.

I sincerely like the idea of discreetly sending in some SF soldiers to cull cartel members.

More reasons not to own a Timeshare. Holding someone in a Mexican jail is called restoritive justice.

Another risk of going to Cancun.

Their children want Trump to save them. I think he should declare war wipe out the cartels and then make Mexico the 52nd state. The border wall would not have to be as long.

The vacationing American and Canadian tourists are caught in the middle, perfectly there to be captured and made into hostages.

This is that Guthrie grandmother kidnapping on steroids.

I wish Trump had waited for the Winter Olympics to be over and then waited for the war in Iran to be over before starting this with the killing of the head of the cartels.

Seems custom made for some warthogs. Oh they are retiring them this year.

Oh but the citizens can rise up and defend themselves against these narco terrorists. You know a rifle behind every blade of grass.

Oh my mistake they are defenseless against these cartels as guns are illegal in Mexico and only the criminals have guns.

Nevermind.

Where do you get that Trump did this? Apparently the US provided some intel, does that make it Trump doing the killing?

You’re right, news saying intel only.

I wouldn't go to Mexico if you paid me. Nothing there worth being killed for and that's a definite possibility any more. Nope. A fool's destination and I'm no fool.

Yep, but people always tell me how nice it is and how the prices are so great. I guess getting kidnapped and tortured to death is kind of a deterrent to me.
