Still haven't heard back from RSD even though I called that number this morning and the guy said someone would call me. Their whole process sucks. Someone was all in 2-3 weeks after me already has plastic?!? Called back and had to leave a voicemail. I want some answers!!!

All of my docs were received on 1/5

I spoke to a lady from Texas Public Safety Commission office today and she let me know I should have my license within two weeks.. She said all of my info had been checked out and will be worked on today or tomorrow. Told me to call her back if license is not in hand in two weeks.

After waiting almost week for a call after Abbott's office told me I would be contacted by DPS, I call the Public Safety Commission number someone posted in an earlier thread. The lady answering the phone asked if my wait had been over 60 days before she transferred me. At the time she transferred me, she told me if I got a voicemail leave name call back number and DL#. Of course I got VM, left requested info, thinking it was another exercise in futility. I received a call back less than half an hour later with the news that I had been approved and sent for printing. Still no change on the website but hopefully my seat in the waiting room will be empty shortly.

I really thought I was going to get somewhere with them when I called at 7:30am and someone answered. But alas, no one from RSD ever actually called me back. I called again in the afternoon to follow up but I got VM and no one called me back again. I feel like I'm never going to get this damn thing.

I got my confirmation email 1/4....

Because I like to torture myself, I'd thought I'd call RSD again (hadn't talked to them since the 10th.). Spoke to a nice lady who seemed very apologetic and somewhat embarrassed in fact. She indicated that everything on my case was back (including my BG check), and indicated that everything was ay-OK. It was in the queue with a million other apps, just waiting to be processed. Soooooo... Back to waiting.

Confirmation email from RSD 1/11/16
Website change 3/23/2016
Plastic in hand ???????

73 days, 13 days over the statute.
48 Business days if that were written into the law....

Time to stalk Mr. Postman...

I've emailed State Rep ONCE, TWICE MY REP's Chief of Staff.
I've called RSD 3X, They've called me once at the request of my Rep.
I've emailed the Governor's Office.
My Timeline... again.
App Date: 1/6/2016
CLASS:1/10/2016
CHL/100 conf email1/11/2016
Fingerprints: 1/13/2016
Fingerprints conf 1/15/2015 (as per RSD my "new all in" date)

I just don't know which date I'm suppose to go off of now since each of the 4 calls I had with RSD, the "all in" extended each time!
