My across the street neighbor went out of town 2 days

They said "Since we don't want our family in the house, would you water our dogs etc we'll leave them outside, make sure they get water"

I said ok

1st day, My niece and I go over a couple times and water the 3 dogs, there's the Brother's car in the drive and he's looking out the window sitting in their computer chair

day 2, we go over and water the 2 dogs, brother's car isn't there .... (wasn't there 3 dogs yesterday?) yes we look everywhere

Day after neighbors are back, neighbors say "one of our dogs got out

I said we'll, we watered 3 dogs 2 days ago and looked all over for the third the next day, looked under sheds and everywhere

She says "We only have 2 dogs but they both got out this morning when my husband went to work; one came back home already .... why were there 3 dogs?"

I explained.
and ... I was relieved, but still looking for the dog they let out accidentally after they got back.
multiple replies...spawn all sorts of side discussions.
The dogs escaped through their side door ...

Ok, I just thought of an ending to this true story which could generate multiple replies and/or side discussions:
The oddest part of the story is that it's HOT Summer, not a cold "Three dog night"

My father in law, neighbor and I worked on a deck today from 7 to 7. We aren't quite done and need to finish tomorrow. I never want to see another deck block in my life.

Well, at least you picked some nice, comfortable weather for it.

I think I would have claimed heat stroke by noon, and left the deck unfinished until, oh, say October 20...

That would be "Introduce Yourself," viewtopic.php?f=23&t=33" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. A solid 202 pages and counting...
