Yeah, hopefully. I love how this forum allows us to see exactly how long the DPS is taking at every step. It is probably our monitoring and responses that caused them to hire more people to meet the 60 day deadline.

Morning, noon and night he's still checking, checking, checking!!! His adoring wife is still sitting next to him on the couch watching this endless maddness go on and on!! (get the picture?) And you can't fool me CHLady! You probably do it to! Come on, 'fess up. :smilelol5:

Not to discourage you but if you are this antsy for "processing application" to show up, you might want to consider a prescription for some anti-anxiety drugs. ;-)

Those 21 letters have spelled defeat for me many a day...

Ok...I promised myself I was not going to drive myself insane checking every day. But, I have succumbed. :cryin
I check first thing in the morning, during lunch time, and last thing before I go to bed! I was doing REAL good...hadn't checked at all until I saw some people whose app's arrived at the DPS same day mind did get the "processing application" reassurance. Maybe tomorrow??? :waiting:

To help me bide my time, anyone have crime stats for those who have become victims of violent crimes during their waiting period?? Son and I had a too close for comfort call on Saturday night. Thankfully, we were able to retreat into our house and engage the locks before the scary guys made it to the door. Was good to know I would operate without panic and do everything I needed to do in a calm, efficient manner and that son and I operate very well as a team. But....would have been nice to have had the ability to carry my gun on my person to WallyWorld and back Saturday night. :mad5

Shouldn't have to worry about things like this in a nice normal family neighborhood....but times are a changin'. :eek6
