So on top of my status of processing, we finally got through to somone at TXDPS Licensing number, and the reason my wife's status wont show, is they fat-fingered her drivers license number. So we should see a status "after the system updates tonight". Glean what you may off that, periodic updates of their database backend ?

Actually, my BGC changed to completed on a Saturday morning. Well, I checked before going to bed Friday night around 9PM and woke up around 7AM to find it had changed. Very possible it could change on the weekend.

One of my status updates happened on the weekend as well. At my work we always replicate and update our databases on the nights and weekends because we have more bandwidth available for that process. Large batchces of CHL along with every other type of file are most likely on the same schedule.

So... the DPS isn't working weekends to get my application done?
Just kidding, but I did get a good scare just now. I went to check on the DPS website and got an error message telling me that I need to submit a new application. What? Is something wrong with my application? Nooooooo!
So I tried again and it worked ok. Guess I made a typo while logging in the first time.

Got a new update!
7/10/10 - Completed class, fingerprints, photos, and paperwork
7/13/10 - Mailed all documents and the payment to the DPS
7/30/10 - Fingerprints: Under Review
8/12/10 - Background and fingerprints complete
Manufacturing Pending
How long does it take once you get the Manufacturing Pending Status?
