I refused to comply with the new California firearm laws and I moved to Texas before they went to effect back in June 2017.
Now they are going door to door (without warrants) inspecting firearms and putting people in jail for "Assault Weapon Crime" over minor modifications such as a compensator because it slighty reduced flash even though it isn't a flash hider.

A friend commented that there are no Cruz signs only Beto signs. I suggested it is for the same reason their were few Trump signs. No one wants their house vandalized. Before the last election a one year old red Corvette convertible ZO6 came up for sale at one of those auction sites that sell reparable cars that have been in accidents. At the time the bidding was at about 50k. I looked hard at it as the car had been only vandalized. Tail lights broken. Convertible top cut open, paint poured inside, all windows bashed in. White latex paint splattered all over the outside. I thought who would do this to a beautiful new car? Ex wife, girlfriend? Then I saw the Trump bumper sticker on the rear photo of the car.

It's going to get worse, before it gets better, especially, if their vaunted "blue wave' doesn't come to fruition. They don't seem to understand, that those tactics, are what caused them to lose, the house, the senate and the presidency, but you can't fix stupid.....
