Puts gun down on counter during robbery ( maybe picking up money ). Victim grabs gun and shoots him.

In the face.

Note to self: despite what people have claimed hoodie in summer means robbery.

2 year old in a car involved in a 2 am shoot out with another car is expected to survive after being hit in the head by a bullet.

Someone in her car fired the first shot.

Police are talking were going to get this person who shot a child. "Whoever is responsible for this shooting, turn yourselves in. We're batting 1,000 in the City of Houston. Right now, if anyone kills or shoots one of our kids, we're going after them," Finner said. "Anyone who harms a kid, we'll put you in jail."

Wouldn't this be self defense?

Yes this is Houston, now.

How does a fired bullet set fire to fireworks? Were they shooting tracers?

Can you get a spark from lead and copper? Maybe from an .556 round with a penetrator? I suspect that someone was attempting to use fireworks as a weapon. As a kid, we used to shoot at rats against all kinds of things. We never saw sparks like they showed in the movies. It was kinda disappointing.

Man shot in road rage incident. Driver of one of the cars shot by the homeowner, whose house the pair of cars stopped at to argue. Car attempted to run over the homeowner. He is cooperating with the police.

As one of the commenters suggested. Stay inside and call 911.

Some fireworks (or at least parts of them) are impact sensitive.

The only ones I know of that are impact sensitive are snapping poppers. The ones that are in the little pieces of white paper and you throw them on the ground and they pop. It's made out of Armstrong's compound.

I suspect something else. Either they were playing with fireworks or the bullet hit a vaping battery something or a cell phone battery.

Mother critically injured in drive by shooting after midnight as she slept in a room with a 4 month old baby.

House attacked again the next night after midnight by shooter or shooters in a black pick up truck.
The mother of 4 has died.

No man parked behind him as I stated above. It was a pulled out in front of him, then words at next stop light.

Man arrested. Shot the pickup with an AR-15. Don't know if that changes the discussion on igniting fireworks.

"Got a gun off the streets" comment.
