Fingerprints taken and paperwork mailed 8/23. Online status still says they're waiting on the receipt of required materials...
Not yet a full week in and the waiting already sucks.
Guess I'll have to kill more time on the forums.

It will stay that way for about a week or so...then you'll start seeing updates roughly every other day. You're probably looking at middle to end of September getting your plastic in hand. Like I stated in a previous post, the longest (it seems) wait is when it changes to mailed and takes about a week to get to you from there due to the "packaging" portion of the "mailed" phase.

Boy, seeing all of you guys that are geting your licenses within a month mailbox to mailbox just makes the wait even harder. I'm on week 6 and mine has been sitting on Background check for 20 days with no update.

Fee : Received
Background Check : Under review
Concealed Handgun License : Print pending completion of application review
I LOVE seeing all of those green check-marks!! It shouldn't be long now.

Plastic finally in hand as of yesterday...just over a month from the time I mailed the packet to the time I received my plastic....could have been worse...my understanding is it used to be anywhere from 3-6 months for a full process

I mailed everything on 8/1/12 and it took a month for it to update to manufacturing. Stat changed on 8/17/12 to BCG/prints under review. Then on 8/31 it showed manufacturing. I hope it shows "mailed" in day now.
