Beautiful Sig, man. I was actually looking at the same model today here, too. I've just heard too many mixed reviews about it though. How has it been treating ya?

I will say it is very picky on ammo

when I am shooting something it likes it feels and operates very well. I like the weight it fits well in my hand and while I may not be the best with it, its a pretty accurate gun.
but like I said very picky on ammo, anything to wide (mostly PMC brand ammo) at the nose binds on the empty mag lever and causes it to jam

that being said I started shooting Winchester at the range and have not had any problems with the last 400-500 rounds I put through it. (only been to the range a few times)
end of the day I am confident it will function properly if and when I need it to.

The P239 is among the best CCW weapons every produced. I have owned three and they are among some of the finest shooters around!

Alex Hamilton.
He has about a 3-4 month wait list.
However, it only took him 3-4 days to finish it once I dropped it off. So IMO it was done quickly and he did GREAT work (prices were VERY competetive...a bit lower compared to other places I checked out.). I did not know this til recently but apparently he writes a column for American Handgunner...Pistolsmithing.
It doesnt even look the same, shoot the same, feel the same, nothing is the same...its 100% better.
I highly recommend him...

Parnell McNamara had an add in the Waco Today about his new conceal school. He gave an e mail address but I have lost the mag and have searched the net but cannot find it. Does anyone have the mail address.

I'm suprised to see that one is picky on ammo. Mine has a mixture of double tap flat point FMJ, DT 115 gr JHP, DT 145 gr JHP, WWB JHB, WWB FMJ, WWB NATO, Remington UMC about 600 rounds in total and has been 110% on all of it. Though I did put in a Steve Bedair SS guide rod in it at about 250 rounds, flawless before, and flawless and more accurate after
