This is somewhat old news, but as a mother and a parent of small children we drove 3 days to TX and 3 days back from TX to avoid this nonsense. We as a family felt so strongly about it that we spent an extra 6 days on the road. All of you can do as you choose, but a TSA agent has no business sticking their fingers into the pants of my children unless they have some probable cause. It is bad for the TSA agent (following orders does not eliminate risk for them), bad for the parent (typical parental protection in this case will get them arrested), bad for the child (makes them more vulnerable to assault in the future), and does nothing to make anyone safer.

Those that don't see the danger in teaching our children it is ok for a person who is not your mom/dad/doctor to touch your bottom, need to consider what happens next time an authority figure says to that child "It is ok I am supposed to do this." Teaching my children that (in my opinion) puts them at greater risk.

It is also insanity to be strip searching every person/ doing a criminal pat down on every person that boards a plane with our borders wide wide open. If we are really concerned about National security we should be starting at our borders. If we are concerned about airline security we need to behaviorally profile, and ask questions to determine if someone is a risk or not. That is what most countries do--most countries do not pat down/strip search every citizen traveling on their flights.

All of this does not even address the 4th amendment of the constitution.
