Several Killed As Baghdad's Green Zone Unravels, White House Denies Embassy Evacuation Reports
Convoys of international vehicles have also been seen speeding from the areas of unrest, exiting the confines of the Green Zone...Intense security deployment near Baghdad International Airport.
If it looks like an evacuation and acts like an evacuation... it probably is.

Iran captures US sea drone, US ship shows up and trails tow ship and Iran eventually releases drone.
So we have a sea drone. Who knew?

There is some good discussion here about what we are looking at:
An Invasion of Gaza Would Be a Disaster for Israel
In a worst-case scenario, the conflict will not remain confined to Gaza. And unfortunately, such an expansion is likely. A protracted invasion of Gaza will generate tremendous pressures in the West Bank, which President Mahmoud Abbas’s Palestinian Authority may be unable—or, perhaps, unwilling—to contain. Over the last year, Israel’s relentless encroachment on West Bank land, and the violent provocations of the settlers, has already brought Palestinian anger and frustration to a boil. The Gaza invasion could push West Bank Palestinians over the edge.
But the invasion of Gaza may well be a redline that would force Hezbollah to act. Escalation in the West Bank and Jerusalem almost certainly would be....And should Hezbollah enter the fray with its formidable arsenal of missiles, Israel would face its first two-front war in half a century.
...expanding the war to Iran would pose enormous risks, not only in the form of Iranian retaliation against Israel but also in attacks against oil shipping in the Gulf and potential escalation across Iraq, Yemen, and other fronts where Iranian allies hold sway.

if jumping joe would simply come on and say to the petroleum industry...drill, refine and go forth at maximum speed. we could regain control of world refined product as well as raw crude imports and domestic drilling.
then we blockade iran RIGHT FREAKING now. no ships capable of carrying oil shall be allowed to enter or leave iranian ports. we have done this before and sank a few of their warships
then we break our feet off in the rear end of QATAR and demand or go get the hamas leadership. take them to isreal.
of course this will cause some military actions from the players

Or if the powers that be would allow a return to more telework and take advantage of advanced nuclear power we would have zero dependence of foreign energy... but these rational schemes are not allowed for some reason.
