Good to hear your wife's situation has been stabilized for now and a plan for further treatment assessment has been arranged. Both of you have my continued prayers.

No reason to start a new thread for this. This has been all on going. My sweet wife had two strokes in 2009. She suffered a bad stroke on Sunday 29. I was in church preaching and she was having a test while in the hospital. During that test she suffered a stroke. We are so thankful she was able to be treated right away. She is under occupational therapy and speech therapy.
We now have seen the doctor for follow up and was told she has Microvascular Ischemic Disease. We have to find a neurologist which is not easy when you don’t have insurance that covers this. There is not a neurologist in the plan she has for herself through Baylor at Irving. We were told to try to get into Parkland. The issue is she needs a blood thinning regiment (two years ago truthfully). The primary care physician was not very assuring and that is fine because we have faith in our Heavenly Father the Great Physician. So we are in search of a practicing physician so would you please pray with me for her? We have been married for 38 years and has been a nurse to me since 2005 with all my health issues’. Mary is not part of my world she is my world.
God Bless Each of You,
Carl

In my experience, it's tough to get seen by a neurologist. That was, however, a different situation and different time, and I'm praying for you both now.

Prayers for Mary and for you. Plus an immediate prayer that you can locate a neurologist who is both very good, in your insurance plan, and will take a new patient.

My wife went back into the hospital early Friday morning and is still there. Please pray for us to find a neurologist.

Praying that you will find the right doctor to give Mary the treatment she needs and have it covered by insurance.
