Well, I'm thrilled that Fox News cleared that up.

Tracy at fox news has replyed to my request for poll results and a copy is attached.
Randy,
We do not regularly air poll question results on FOX 4
and have no plans to do so for this poll. The feature
is strictly a myFOXdfw.com feature.
You can vote again in the poll:

After you vote you should see current
results, but there is no official close or final tally.

Here is what I emailed Fox 4:
Your Poll was worded very poorly! It appeared against CHL holders since your station also implied illegal gun possession as well.
"Should people be restricted from carrying guns at the
State Fair, even with a concealed handgun license? "
Yes
No
I request you re- post the poll again with the question:
“Should people with a concealed handgun license be restricted from carrying guns at the
State Fair?
Yes
No
Is it not obvious that no one wants unlicensed criminals carrying firearms at the State Fair? Why don’t you mention the results of the poll on the air? Because of the way your station worded the question and the fact it still showed 80% in favor despite the poor wording?

Here is the reply I received from Fox 4:
Mark,
Thank you for visiting myFOXdfw.com. Our daily polls
are just that... polls that appear for about a day only
on myFOXdfw.com.

Pretty Lame response

And to think they get paid to respond like that...

Here is my reply to Tracy's latest reply:
Tracy,
Thanks for the reply.
CHL was used in the question "concealed handgun license= CHL"
"Should people ( if people are not concealed handgun licensed - would they
not be carrying illegally?)
be restricted from carrying guns at the state fair, even
with a concealed handgun license?"

Subject: RE: Guns at the State Fair
Mark,
The question on the Web site was "Should people be
restricted from carrying guns at the state fair, even
with a concealed handgun license?" The choices were yes
and no. There words illegal and CHL were not in the
question.

Disingenuous answers to deflect responsibility for a poorly worded question.
