I would hope that if I were inadvertently printing like that a fellow CHL'r would give me a heads up.

Being neighborly used to be routine.

I agree with quietly telling him his problem. Most wouldn't even notice or connect it with a gun in my opinion. There are just to many gadgets for most people to notice. I know, even with an over shirt, I have printed carrying a full size gun and bending over. That is the main reason I wear my gun at 3 O'clock now. Further back is okay if your standing up but bend over and your going to "show".

I would have to "feel out" the situation.

If it were obvious that he were there watching his child, and his family was with him, I would likely say something.

If I got the idea that he were drunk, hot-tempered, thuggy, etc., I would move on. (I hear some of these parents can be real rascals at sporting events.)

Just to set things straight, he was there with "family" to include a child who was participating in sports there. Trying to keep things as vague as possible to be fair to the individual.

I have seen him there before.......I might try to talk to him the next time I see him. LEO or not, concealed should be concealed. This picture doesn't come close to showing how bad his cover garment was. There was no ,istaking what it was and anyone who saw it would not confuse it with anything else. I think it's quite obvious............but then again, I've been "around"

Very likely an overworked Cop with his duty weapon.

I would walk by and quitely mention "Dude, yer printing" and go on.

Having spent 18 years going to hundreds of Soccer, Baseball, and Football games I know the drill.

There are plenty of Soccer Moms that will figure out after 10 minutes what is under the shirt and I doubt he wants to get called out by a dozen Moms and then the Coaches. Oops, almost forgot...there is typically overtime LEO's around as well.

I have to admit that I think he is much more likely to be a cop than a CHL or criminal.

From my experience, as shown by this thread, CHL's are much more worried about concealment than the cops are. You have to keep it concealed by law, while the cop could carry it openly, even off duty. There might be a department rule about concealment, but the cop is not nearly as worried about it as the CHL.

And I don't think he is a criminal because, as I think was posted before, criminals tend to not use holsters. They usually carry stuck in the front waistband (and I keep hoping for them to get Darwin Award nominations that way).

So, since I think he is a cop who is not truly worried about the concealment, I would not say anything to him about it. If I got to know him through a couple games, i might ask him about what he carries and get into that type of conversation, but otherwise, I would let it alone.

I would mind my own business.

Besides, IMHO he is not intentionally failing to conceal.

Key the harp music....

I want to live in a world where no one really cares whether I am packing open or concealed or whether I want to have my Evil Black Shotgun or Rifle slung over my shoulder, and if perchance some sheeple bleets "He's got a gun!" the rest of the sheep tell him to shush or else I give my toothy grin, smile and say "Try it you'll like it".

Off harp music....

*sigh*

Assume nothing...Expect anything...

The funny thing is no one here is surprised nor overly alarmed at this "reasonable effort" to conceal...

Sure, we are not stupid, we know what it is...But technically, and in my opinion its concealed...Maybe not too well, but it is concealed...

I'm sure after some reasonable "additional" observation that this person is not a problem...In that reality, I am sure anyone of us is proficient enough to determine that truth...

If they were wearing knock-off sportswear, baggypants down past the crack of the moon, hat worn cockeyed off to the side looking the part of a gang banger of sorts...Then yes, there could be a reasoanable assumption made as to their status...But even then...I seriously doubt a shooting is imminent...

I could go on and on, but I figure the picture has been painted enough...

I hope you know that is stereotyping. That is the same attitude that allows alot of people in 3 piece suits to get away with murder or the bank vault, because others can't believe they could be a problem. I love to see these folks on TV talking about, " I didn't know that.....was involve in ....." How about just judging people by their ACTIONS and not what they look like. That is embracing diversity.
There isn't a fellow on this planet that I'm afraid of. So everyone get the same treatment from me if they cross the line. People that knows me, know that I don't cut any slack, just because you dress nice.

Yes, and I am what I eat...And yes, I would look at what a person does more than what they look like...

If you want to look like something out of an (recent history) MTV video, then that is certainly your prerogative...You will, and should be scrutinized more...IF you don't conceal any better than the subject in that picture...

You may be the most upstanding guy in society, but if you were that, I'm sure that the stereotyping "you" say would not be the mode of dress, or method of carrying one's self in this particular situation...

I really like your analogy, "I didn't know that if I dressed like a gangsta I would be scrutinized more than 3-piece vested suit guy over there?"

I would not say anything. In my opinion his "print" is less obvious than a fanny pack. Everytime I see a man wearing one, I assume he is carrying. I can't think of any other reason to wear one of the silly looking things.
