I have noticed that IWB and low-rise jeans don't work out so well. Take my advice on that one. You don't want to be running to the RR in a crowded wal-mart trying to keep your gun from slipping out on the way.

To any ladies reading this, I have not found the need to go up a size to wear IWB, but the biggest gun I carry is rather slim compared to Glocks. If you carry a thick gun, you may need to add an inch, but not so with the 1911.

I first read that as "carrying Commando", and I was thinking "OK that's too much information!".frankie_the_yankee wrote:2" up works for me carrying a Commander.
