I planned two things, a new shotgun (Mossberg 500 bought yesterday). A Glock Pistol (G-17 bought today). The only thing left is lots of ammo and many range visits.
I have been a staunch 1911 guy for years, I went and shot a Glock last month with a friend, now I own one.
Oh No

Still plenty of charges the BATF could level against him, such as possession of firearms by a convicted felon.Greybeard wrote:Hyunchback - He did evidently know enough to keep it a tad over 18". They will lie their butts off to put Wayne Fincher behind bars but when real criminals are doing real crimes with real guns the BATF is no where to be found.
What is Project One Million: Texas?
The "Project" is a grassroots effort to increase the number of Texans who are members of the National Rifle Association from 250.000 to 1,000,000.

Detective did look into possiblity Federal charges, but decided none that would stick. If we'd been an FFL, that would have done it. His most serious prior was Class B (DWI). Last I heard though, they were up to 13 felony charges and he (turns 23 this month) was a still a guest in the Denton County Hilton, waiting to see if rich Daddy gonna bail him out ...
In the meantime, on my do list today is to order from Marlin two magazines and at least 1 primary ...
