FYI, I got an email update for a special happening this weekend at the Round Rock store that some of you in that area may want to check out. I guess since they closed the one in Lewisville they put me on this other stores distribution list.

Join us at Sportman's Warehouse March 15th where the first 500 customers to bring a purchase to the cash register will receive a balloon with a coupon for between 5% and 100% Off!

Hello and welcome to your personal newsletter from your Round Rock Sportsmans Warehouse. We are very excited to announce our annual balloon sale that is happening this Saturday. Please show up early as the balloons will go fast. Please check out our events and we look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday. If you have any questions please send me and email or contact our customer service department at 512-218-8880.

I just signed up for the email updates -- thanks for the tip. I got my Sigma at the RR SW, and the last time I bought carry ammo (last month) I got lucky and was there on a "customer appreciation day" so it was 10% off. The regular price rang up high, so I had to catch that and have them fix it before taking the 10% off.

A box of 20 (edit: not 25) .40S&W Gold Dot was around $18. Outside of gun shows, where around here would carry ammo be cheaper? Not Wal-Mart.

I generally buy my carry ammo at Cost Plus 10. I think I paid like $14 for a box of 9mm GDHP +P 124gr last time I bought some. It may have been a little more, I can't remember off hand as it has been a while.

That dude can talk your ear off. Opinionated, much? ;-)

I haven't been there in almost a year, and I was looking at guns not ammo then. Time to make another trip up Burnet Lane(not Road, for those of you looking for it).
