Well, didn't get your note in time, I just created another one: :)

Now back on topic, how did you go about getting the Utah permit? I've tried looking at Utah's website, but can't seem to find any information about non-residents.

Thanks.

Show off...

I nominate Ryan as our "TexasCHLforum" technical illustrator type person, to maintain and otherwise be the keeper of this knowledge...

But of course I think this needs to go to some "protected" portion of the forum to be accessed by the membership when needed...

i.e.: "Texas Reciprocity Map" sticky...Locking out discussion to keep it clean...Any discussion could be brought up in a separate thread topic...

BTW, that is a beautiful map there muh man!

Do I have a second?

I looked at Utah also...But that was a long time ago...At that time it looked like you would have to make a trip out there, do the paperwork, take the class there, pay the fees etc etc...

Seems like the bang for your buck has lessened with all the things Texas has done with all the additional reciprocity agreements...

You may have one or more states Texas doesn't (with that Utah license), but for the money you spend to get those states, I don't see it being a great value for your hard earned $$$...

I will look at it again though...Its been a while since I looked at Utah's system...

Changed the above picture, removed the blue color for Texas, just didn't look right. :)

Nice job.

Maybe you could do one that incorporates different colors that reflect additions with the N.H. and Utah permit.

Does A&M issue that many crayons?

P.S. I even need help with crayons. I married a Longhorn.

How about something like this?

NOTE: Updated to include OH on UT permit, and removed UT from NH (see note below)
NOTE: Updated to include MN on UT permit.

The home office for the company I work for is in WA, so i'd love to get ahold of the UT permit. What exactly is required? From what I read, I have to take a utah specific class. I'm assuming I have to go to Utah for that, or do they recognise other classes?

Do we have any options for Oregon as well?
