How did you manage to lose your weapon if you were "No Billed"?
I was so releaved I wasn't about to spend 30 years in prison I didn't want to file the paperwork to get the gun back and take the chance a different DA would review the case and decide to bring it back to trial. Trust me on this. If you ever find yourself facing the possibility of getting a 30 year prison sentence, loosing a 600.00 gun will seem like nothing. Your level of innocence gives little comfort.

The attorney cost me $2,500.00 bucks. Case was no billed. Quite frankly, if anyone believes they are going to use a weapon in self defense and just walk off as the crowd cheers for the "hero", they are in for a very unpleasant surprise. Maybe in some cases you get to walk, but not in all cases. Be prepared for the worst and you won't get caught unprepared. Oh yeah...almost forgot. Glad you are alive to talk about it. That's what matters.
