Unfortunately the updates have been a little spotty. Apparantly Jeremy made it to DC (Bethesda? Walter Reed?) and was supposed to go on to Georgia, but had had some bleeding problems - the latest I have heard is that he is now in Georgia, but that's all I really know.

I will be talking to my boss tomorrow, and he should be in the know.

OK. They're still in our thoughts and prayers.

Jeremy is in Georgia!

It was touch and go for a while, but it appears that he not only will keep his legs, but he expects to be back in the rotation within half a year.

My friend says that Jeremy has never lost his enthusiasm and the only down time was during a surgical consult when a butter bars doctor started talking about the inevitability of amputation - which at this point seems to have been averted.

There was a minor crisis just after he got back to CONUS, when he started bleeding severely, but that was controlled right quick and he has already weathered several surgeries.

I will be sending him a care package - one that was all packed up and ready to go to him out of country, and will pass along wishes from the forum - he should be back home in about three months, for a month convalescent leave, if all goes well.

Thank you for your prayers, please keep them coming.

Jim,

Is there anything we could send in addition to your care package? And do you have info for us to get it to him?

His father has asked me to delay sending a box until he gets to where he will be doing rehab. He will be staying at rehab for upwards of three months, they predict, but right now he is "in transit" for the various surgeries and a package might not catch up with him. When I get a firm address I will let people know.
