Hmm, that becomes a sticky wicket. Not to hijack here, but while the sign may not be valid from a state level, doesn't railroad property fall outside of the states jurisdiction and they make their own rules? If so, any sign may serve the purpose of notifying the holder.

Is it just me, or does the sign go without saying?

In other words, it's stating what state law already prohibits.

What's the point?

It's like having a sign that reads Rape and Murder are illegal on these premises...
