That's a good idea, but the body that can do something about it doesn't reconvene until next year.lunchbox wrote:instead of talking till we are blue in the face over these issues why not take it to a body that can do something about it
Gold plated commemorative guns? Zoysia plugs? Overpriced insurance?Russell wrote:We should write the NRA and complain about them allowing ads for ridiculously horrible products to run in their magazines.
I would buy one if it had the Texas Star . I know a couple of CHLers who own one. I just don't make it to gunshows.TDDude wrote:I always thought those badges were a joke or at least a novelty item. The sellers can't possibly believe that they are selling a product that anyone qualified to get a CHL will buy to wear.
Perhaps I have too much faith.
You mean like this?I would buy one if it had the Texas Star
I have one of those! I got it at the Grand Ol' Opry.casingpoint wrote:You mean like this?I would buy one if it had the Texas Star
That's no patrol car. That's Tom Dooley. He's a storm chaser.
Storm chaser or not, that car would make any Woo-woo proud.KC5AV wrote:That's no patrol car. That's Tom Dooley. He's a storm chaser.
DITTO... I certainly hope NOT.WildBill wrote:Every state has laws making it illegal to impersonate a peace officer. That is why the CHL badges, just like security guard badges are supposed to be designed so they won't be confused with an LEO.
I agree that wearing a CHL badge is not a good idea, but I am debating the right of someone to advertise a legal product. I don't like a lot of the advertisers in gun magazines, so I don't buy their products. If you wish to write "America's First Freedom" to protest the adverstisement, that is your prerogative, but I am not going to join you.
I respect your opinion, but mine differs from yours.
I wonder about that, too. As I recall, only one person on this forum has admitted to purchasing a CHL badge. There must be others.Apparently people are buying them, or else they wouldn't keep getting advertised.
