If it wasn't such a beautiful holster I would tell them to pack sand. I'll post pictures when and if it ever shows up. I had another one I gave to my brother and I loved it.
It didn't take near this long!
Now I know why people spend good money for leather. The wait and the cost of my holster was well worth the money and the wait. I love my M-11 from Brigade. You gotta love a leather holster that only requires one hand to re-holster.

I ordered a Brigade M-11 in March. Still nothing. I ordered a #1 for a 1911 Commander from nm-holsters.com and got it in about 2 1/2 weeks. I'm very happy with the nm#1. Made in Texas and very comfy. I haven't cancelled the Brigade order because I want to see for myself if waiting over 9 months (and still waiting) is really worth the wait. I'm not real happy with the lack of communication or any type of periodic email update on order progress. I don't care how "nice" (or not) the Brigade ends up being, I will never order anything else from them. As a side note: I have 2 friends that ordered VM II's from Milt Sparks and got them in about 5+ months. Hind sight is 20/20.

I will agree that they need to find a better way to keep customers updated, they are really lacking in that department. Brigades web page is showing a 13 - 14 month turnaround time if placing an order today, they must be really busy.
I liked the look of the NM holsters, I just don't like the fact that the openings are not reinforced for one handed holstering of the handgun.

one handed reholstering has not been a problem for me using the nm holsters ( I actually own 3). Granted, I would not advise wearing the holster for extended periods minus the gun. It might cause the mouth to collapse some. However, there is also a trade off of sorts. Reinforced mouth with additional layer of metal or plastic plus leather / trim = thicker for IWB carry. I don't need anything that adds even the slightest amount of extra girth.

When I ordered the wait was 24 weeks. Obviously well past that now. IF I had known about the wait factor and lack of customer service I would have ordered the Milt Sparks VM II. To wait over a year for a carry holster at this price point? Naw. Maybe a specialty rig with customized carving or unique custom design.

I can't imagine waiting that long for a holster ~ one would think that they find a way of increasing production some!! I know it's a learned skill but I have to believe there is some way to hire/train people to better meet the demand ~ that seems to be just business 101!!
