From the Film Collateral...just after a guy does a high dive onto Max's cab.

Max:...I think he's dead.
Vincent: Good guess.
Max: You killed him?
Vincent: No, I shot him. Bullets and the fall killed him.

From the classic WWII movie "Battleground" the 101st Airborne is surrounded at Bastgone and everybody is going on the line.

1st GI, "This is the US rifle caliber .30 M1, it is a semi-automatic, gas operated, clip fed, air cooled . . . "

2nd GI, "Don't try to sell it to me just show me how to load it!" :smilelol5:

You forgot Tommy Lee Jones in Man of the House: "I saw that... ...(sadly resigned) I see everything."

How about in Band of Brothers, as the 101st is marching into Bastogne and the weary 4th ID troops are retreating. Colonel Dick Winters is standing watching his troopers march in, and a dispirited 4th ID guy tells him they should be fleeing too, or they'll be surrounded. Winters replies, "We're Airborne, son. We're supposed to fight surrounded."

The Outlaw Josey Wales is one of my favorites for memorable quotes. There are literally dozens of them, but here are some of my favorites:

Lone Watie: Get ready, little lady. Hell is coming to breakfast.
-----------------
Josey Wales: Now remember, things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean. I mean plumb, mad-dog mean. 'Cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live nor win. That's just the way it is.
-----------------
Josey Wales: When I get to likin' someone, they ain't around long.
Lone Watie: I notice when you get to DISlikin' someone they ain't around for long neither.
-----------------
Josey Wales: Are you gonna pull those pistols or whistle Dixie?

I think that movie script is pretty much one long memorable quote, from one end to the other.

"Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine." Humphrey Bogart

Stinger: And if you screw up just this much, you'll be flying a cargo plane full of rubber dog stuff out of Hong Kong!
Maverick: Yes sir!

Merlin: What are you doing? You're slowing down, you're slowing down!
Maverick: I'm bringing him in closer, Merlin.
Merlin: You're gonna do WHAT?

I'll jump in and list a few from "Full Metal Jacket"

"The dead know only one thing: it is better to be alive."

Private Joker: Are those... live rounds?
Private Gomer Pyle: Seven-six-two millimeter. Full. Metal. Jacket.

Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: The deadliest weapon in the world is a marine and his rifle. It is your killer instinct which must be harnessed if you expect to survive in combat. Your rifle is only a tool. It is a hard heart that kills.

Pogue Colonel: You write "Born to Kill" on your helmet and you wear a peace button. What's that supposed to be, some kind of sick joke?

Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: What's this weapon's name, Private Pyle?
Private Gomer Pyle: Sir, the private's weapon's name is Charlene, sir!
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Private Pyle, you are definitely born again hard. Hell, I may even allow you to serve as a rifleman in my beloved Corps.
Private Gomer Pyle: Sir, yes, sir!

Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: [chanting] This is my rifle.
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: [grabbing their ?????????] This is my gun.

Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: I don't want no teenage queen
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: I just want my M-14

Sgt. Hartman: Did your parents have any children that lived?!
"Gomer Pyle": Sir, yes, sir!
Sgt. Hartman: I'll bet they regret that.

Many other great ones. Most of which can't be printed here.

I'm surprised this thread is at 2 pages now, and not one Monty Python quote yet. I'm very disappointed.

(ahem)

King Arthur: Old woman!!
Serf: Man!!!
King Arthur: Man, sorry...who...
Serf: I'm 37.
King Arthur: What?
Serf: I'm 37. I'm not old.
King Arthur: Well, I couldn't just call you "Man."
Serf: You could have called me "Dennis."
King Arthur: I didn't know you were called Dennis.
Serf: Well, you didn't bother to find out, did you?

From Blackhawk Down.....

Steele: Sergeant, what's the meaning of this?
[Thinking he's talking about the unauthorized pig picking]

"Hoot": Just a little aerial target practice, sir. Didn't want to leave 'em behind.

Steele: I'm talking about your weapon, soldier. Now Delta or no-Delta, that's still a hot weapon. Your safety should be on at all times.

"Hoot": This is my safety, sir.
[He holds up his index finger and bends motions as if squeezing a trigger and then walks off]
