Well, I used some confidential sources to get information on this, so please don't pass this around!
There is going to be a new CHL issued, but it won't be until about Sept. of 2009. DPS has given this new style a name; it will be called "on time."

lol, not even a nice one with flowers and pictures of cute puppy dogs and butterflies that we can show to people to prove we mean no harm and aren't crazy?

I may be wrong, but I believe that's the way the state of Missouri does it.Why not just have CHL coded on the driver's license?

It's a good idea in theory, but in practice do you want to have your ID photocopied when filling out loan documents so now it's public information. Information that can and probably would make it to insurance companies. Life insurance companies would love this info as they can increase your rates because you have a gun.ErnieP wrote:Help me understand. Why not just have CHL coded on the driver's license?
