I also transpose digits all the time when I'm reading numbers.
And I have a terrible time with math.
And I have an IQ of 140.
But I can find my way almost anywhere without a map; I excelled at land navigation when I was in the Army. I can read with the page upside down.

There are 10 kinds of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who don't.
I always like throwing in the A-F for hex. It really messes people up and it is so easy to convert between binary and hex.
I made this logo for myself several years ago.
I also used to calculate things in base-7 math, after my math teacher taught us alternate numbering systems in 4th grade.

I saw an interview about Daniel Radcliff, the boy who plays Harry Potter. If memory serves, he describes something similar?

I have pretty much the same problem. The first few years of school were the worst with me learning letters. I was told later in life it was a form of dysexili. Once I got past learning to read it wasn't really a problem. Apart from reading, math was great for me. The thing that helped me most was reading alot even thou I had trouble. Now that I am 31 I have pretty much gotten past having problems.

Yeah... just wait till you get past 40, then those reading problems start all over again, just in a different way!
Not that I would know personally. I've just heard.
