Maybe take some lessons from other activists group: Maybe a nationwide gunowners strike or something. Imagine what would happen if 80 million people took a day off?

We can't even get half that number to pay a meager $35 per year to the NRA. I'm sure they're way too cheap to take a day off work.

One problem is that we can't get the NRA to do their job and rate all of our candidates. Sheesh , anyone looking at their 2008 candidate rating sheets might think that there were only Democrats or Republicans running.

I vote straight ticket Republican not because I'm lazy, but because I want to make sure at every level of government there's a better than average chance that my second amendment rights, and conservative economic values, will be respected.

Libertarians have a much worse than average chance of getting elected. That's just the way the cookie crumbles.

I thought you would like to know that the Republicans were the ones who sponsored the latest attempt at a AWB.

I agree that they should rate more of the candidates; I would even like it if they spend more money on that and less money on other miscellaneous mailers. However, they're still the best deal going for RKBA supporters; I suspect we would have waved goodbye to the Second Amendment long ago without them.

All I have to say is that we live in a changing world. The NRA and we are still the same as ever. Its about prioritys and perspective.
