Even the clip might nut have been good enough to prevent that accident. Sweatpants aren't very substantial to clip to, and its still an unprotected Glock trigger.srothstein wrote: It is probably a little late, but I bet Plaxico Burress would have appreciated it if you had sent him that link about a month ago.

Re: Fist IWB holster
Fist holsters are top notch. I have their K2 OWB models, and they carry comfortably and very close to the body. I'm very pleased with them.Shaggy wrote:I have been searching for a IWB holster for my G27 but so far everything I have seen or tried carries it too high and its top heavy along the beltline. What I want is something that carries it low and about the same as if there we no holster at all and it were just tucked into my pants.
I think I may have found just what I am looking for and it will allow me to adjust it to fit me perfectly.
Does anyone have any experience with Fist holsters?
Second question, Kydex or leather? I am leaning towards leather mainly because I prefer natural materials and I have been reading that Kydex has a tendency to scratch and put wear marks on the metal parts of the gun.
I am looking really hard at this one...

I'm partial to Kydex for its durability and resistance to deformation, but leather is more comfortable if carried next to the skin.
For your low carry requirements, you might take a look at the SmartCarry product.
Hoffner's holsters in Houston has some very fine products you might want to consider as well.

Re: Fist IWB holster
FWIW, I have 2 FIST holsters, the #K1 WITH INSIDE OUTSIDE ADAPTERS and love them. Occasionally, the muzzle-end gof the holster rubs a bit, after MANY hours of wear IWB, but usually that's not a problem. OWB there have been NO prolblems.
God Bless Ya'll !
