I guess we can all make those one or two word comments to bring our membership level up, but is that the kind of participation the forum wants? Just wondering..... And speaking of rules, isn't this thread for selling and not bashing?

First off sir, I hope you take jest better in person than you do on a forum. If you dont, than i truly feel sorry for you. Secondly, there are no special benefits to having the most posts in the world here as far as i know. I post for one reason, I enjoy the company of my armed Texan friends. Not to make my little number grow. Lastly, this thread ceased to be about selling when it was edited for violating the TOS of charlestoipa (texas CHL forum) Please join the discussions as there are quite a few smrt forks on here (i am not included)

After you have been here awhile and see how things operate, see how the occaisional troll or "I am only here to sell" poster or spammer can really rub the boards the wrong way then you will understand. Killerfly has been around awile and is a contributing member.

Entering posts that slam the rules and correcting long term members also builds post count but does zero to gain respect among the membership.

On another forum I belong to, the software doesn't even let you SEE the 'firearms classifieds' until you have a certain number of posts.

If you contribute at all, you can reach the minimum number of posts easily.
I would prefer everyone could see the ads... just not post an ad until they have the correct number of posts.

The OP now knows why the post was deleted. After that, the thread has gone off topic and is being locked.
