I tell you, I think this would be a hoot with about 20 bubbas with Mosin-Nagants. We'd be trying to figure out how many to let board just so we could use the bayonets.

Well, I have the M44 Carbine, so I can't get someone with the bayonet until they're more like 18 yards away.. LOL

Unlike these guys...how embarrassing...

British and Irish anti-piracy experts rescued - after pirates attack

Two British and one Irish security guard were plucked from the sea by a military helicopter yesterday after they jumped from a tanker seized by pirates off Somalia, leaving behind more than two dozen crew members.

Actually, those guys did fight the pirates but they had no guns.

"They fired water cannon at the pirates and zigzagged the vessel. They also used a long-range accoustic device that fires laser-like beams of excruciatingly painful sound at attackers. They beat off three or four attacks but the pirates then began firing RPGs at the laser operator. Mr Davis said the pirates continued to shoot at the security guards after boarding the ship and that the three had no choice but to abandon the vessel. "

Rule number 284: Never bring an accoustical cannon to an RPG fight.

You have got to be kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's all there is to these guys????????

The Chinese sailors not having guns is not surprising and I admire their sand for doing what the're doing. Look at where they come from. China. Not a whole lotta sentiment there from the government on letting their citizens arm themselves for any reason but come on., a dinky little "speedboat" like that?

I'm in the sound business so I know what loud sound can do to a person but with ear plugs or the right amount of chemically induced bravery, dBSPL probably won't matter much.

A couple scoped long rifles on the stern would take those dudes out long before they get close enough to tie up.

I think that since Iraq is closing down, those Blackwater foks are missing out on a very lucrative opportunity with much less risk than what they are dealing with now.
