Some people have mental flatulence. If you never do, congratulations.
Pilots have forgotten to lower their landing gear before touching down. Stuff happens.

Never had that issue in my aircraft. Guess because it doesn't have any.

& said. yep.
So far that is the only time.

I travel overseas often. I don't take any unnecessary IDs with me when I travel outside of the country. When I come back, there's a chance that I might forget to put CHL back to my wallet.

I used to travel abroad and also did not bring anything I wouldn't need.
I have a special passport wallet. When I was traveling, I would transfer my driver license and American Express card to it. Then I would lock up my regular wallet.
That way I avoided the problem that you mentioned.

Yes
I always transfer my DL and CHL into a fanny pack exterior pocket when I head out on my bicycle.
After arriving home after such a trip, imagine my surprise when I went to transfer them back to my wallet to find I had my DL and my Visa card...arrrggghhh!

In a word:
No.

I've walked out the door and forgotten my phone, my gun, my knife, money, keys, even my shirt, but never without a wallet. I guess it was how I was raised. As a boy I didn't always have a gun, knife, money keys or even a shirt, but I always had a wallet with a dime in it for an emergency phone call.

I didn't own a wallet until I started driving. Before that, I just had my bus pass and a few dollars in my pocket. Maybe that's why I never got a deeply ingrained habit of picking up my wallet every time I get dressed.

Remember that Section 46.02 applies to you if your plastic is lost, stolen or left at home. Section 46.15. (NONAPPLICABILITY) covers a licensee if they're "carrying a concealed handgun and a valid license" at the time.

Mental checklist before leaving: Phone, wallet, keys, gun. Physically touch each of them to make sure it's on me and I'm good to go.

I've forgotten mine a couple times while walking the dog in the evenings. I usually empty my pockets when I get home. I forget to grab my wallet in the whole getting the leash, flashlight, dog and mail bag frenzy.

I grew up on military bases, and dear ol' dad made sure we always had our ID card on us. It served as a bus pass, gate pass, get into the BX pass, Pool Pass... etc yada
Needless to say, you always had it on you, and typically it was in a wallet with a few bucks. I feel naked if I don't have my wallet on me!
