Now ya got me wondering about a possible Home Defense Bathrobe. The HDB.

Lightweight duck canvas, maybe with a soft, absorbent cotton lining; typical open, side-slash pockets; a nylon-web, thick, holster-capable 1.5" belt sewn in with a nylon, dryer-friendly instructor-style buckle; elastic shot-shell holders sewn in high under each pec; concealed chest-draw inside pockets on either side; extra hook-and-loop cargo pockets at the right and left thigh; small-of-back hook-and-loop pouch.

I'm joking, of course.

But if 5.11 ever comes out with one of these, though, you and I need to claim credit! And royalties!

I’ve contacted my State Rep, Gary Elkins, about co-sponsoring HB560. Have you contacted your Rep?

That's quite an idea. A thick nylon web belt with velcro would make a quickly-donned and strong belt for support.

I should try putting together something like this.
