I like the single-stack S&Ws, too. That said, if you can pony up the cash, a Kahr PM9 is hard to beat for a pocket carry gun.
Thanks everyone for all the responses. Since posting my question, I've had a lot of people tell me that they like their Kimbers. Personally, I hadn't looked into them too much (at least not after seeing the price). However, with all the praise they've gotten, I've wondered if it would be worth saving up for?
I remember last year, the NRA gave them an award for their small hands package but I never was able to find out what that was.
