A more important issue that I have come across is not concealability, there are numerous holsters that will conceal well on big guys like me. The real problem is quick access to the firearm. My extra cushioning seems to hinder my draw from concealment. It is much easier for my skinny friend to quickly draw from concealment than it is for me. In the situation where we may need to draw, that couple of seconds could make a difference. You should practice drawing from your holster and see for yourself.
