I saw the LCP at Academy in Port Arthur on Friday while there on business for $349 and has the usual Academy deal, 2 mags and a hard case. Day trip?

if you don't mind a road trip I have a p3at and soon to be 200 rounds of ammo ( 100 to be delivered by UPS on Monday). I paid $299 for the gun $80 and some change for ammo and $19.99 for a blackhawk pocket holster.so I have $398 in it and would take $375 for all of it. the gun is new in the box (unfired) comes with the hardcase and manuals LMK

I had an LCP when they first came out..... hurts like heck to shoot it... slide kept coming back and slicing the webbing between thumb and trigger finger..... go with the LCR.... much nicer

As I sit here gripping my Elsie Pea, I can't for the life of me figure out how you were able to get slide bite from this model of pistol unless your grip was way too high. Both my better half and I have fired a couple hundred rounds through our pistols and have yet to experience this phenomenon. Enlighten me please, I don't doubt your statement, I just can't figure this out.

Never had slide bite on mine. I did have trouble with follow on shots at first because I couldn't get enough of my paws around it. I got the magazine extensions and it works fantastic for me now. I can easily put all 7 COM from 15 yrds in 3-4 seconds.

can't explain it... had the extensions on the mag and still got bit .... must have been 5 out of the 30 shots that went through it.... sent it back to ruger for the recall then sold it....... just wasn't for me I suppose.... really liked the size and weight of it ... but.......the new LCR feels so much better in the hand....so much so that I am trying to find another one...
