As you would expect, due to it's very light weight it recoils more than subcompact 1911's in the same caliber with more metal in them. I do have some concerns about the durability of the fairly soft polymer frame in the rail area, which shows some wear already, so it wouldn't be my choice for putting 300 or so rounds through twice a month. For my purposes it's a very good solution for the "carried a lot, shot a little" category.

Thank you Excaliber, that's the type of info I was looking for. Being so small and light I expect the recoil to be stiff, but I am not recoil shy at all.
