I keep wanting to go into one of those fancy fou-fou coffee joints and asking "do y'all have any coffee-flavored coffee?"

The first time I ever saw Starbuck's coffee come into my house, my daughter had a cup. I asked her how much it cost, as I took a sip of my Kroger dark roast coffee that I'd just brewed up, that cost $2.99/lb. She said $4.99. I coughed.

It took me 10 minutes to clean all the coffee off my computer screen and computer desk. :grumble

Their actions sound more like what one should do if they try to force that garbage into your mouth! Yuck. Chicken bologna.

I stop at nicer hotels to go to the bathroom if it's anything other than "number 1" on the road. They always have very clean bathrooms. I just walk in and if anyone is at the desk they just wave. I do my business and leave. I used to feel guilty about it until I started staying in hotels a bunch for work. Now I just stop at the ones I actually stay at which happen to be the only ones I stay at.

Mr. Liberty, the Galveston's Mc Donalds doesn't have much of a parking lot :-)

You grew up on Dunkin' Donuts?? Me too.

In many New England towns there are multiple "Dunkies" within a short
distance of one another.

There was a plan by the former Zale's Jewelry family to open up 50 DD's in
the DFW Metroplex. They only got 4 opened before the current credit crisis
dried up their financing. They sold those 4 to someone who already owned other
DD's.

Since Dunkin' Donuts was the place for late night drinkers to stop before finally
stumbling home, the nickname for this chain is "Drunken Donuts"!!

Quality not quantity. I believe there is only on McDonalds left in Galveston, The one at the end of Broadway and Seawall. The view is most pleasant, and one of my favorite spots to share a Sunday morning breakfast, but its not about the food.

I thought only cops were responsible enough to have guns! That's what liberals tell me!

There's a bad apple in every patch. This guy makes everyone, his fellow officers, and gun owners in general look bad. :???:

Makes you wonder doesn't it?

What would you have done as a CHL if a cop pulls a gun on you because he didn't get his order fast enough?

I'm thinking duck and call 911.

I guess the cops in the offending vehicle would hear the dispatcher which could make for a quick "Oh no! What did I just do? moment for the officer.

You are right Mr. Liberty. I didn't think about that one, although I work right up Broadway a few blocks. I was thinking of the one's on 61st St and Broadway & 53rd.
