103 today..no rain for weeks ...been watering the grass 3 to 4 hours every other day..lawn is green and lush .
driving through the hood..so many yards are brown and crispy , past the point of no return .

gonna do a little rain dance tonite.

102 yesterday in San Antonio, probably about the same today. Just got back from our honeymoon in Las Vegas (so it was delayed 19 years... so maybe I procrastinate sometimes) and it was about 104 up there. Wife and I were walking around everywhere, probably 2-3 miles a day checking out all the casinos and whatnot. People thought we were crazy for walking around in that heat. Folks... the humidity was from three to about 15 percent... we were ENJOYING it!

It's only 100 today. We've got a few clouds and a light breeze to cool things off a bit. I've got some chicken on the grill this afternoon. The ribs from last night turned out great.
