Wait long enough thereafter, however, and the muscles will finally relax, relieving the carcass of that green stink. So wrap it multiple times in wal-mart type bags, and then bury it quickly.

We used to deal with skunks constantly when I lived in Tennessee. I tell ya, you haven't lived until you've been woken in the middle of the night by your barn cats fighting with the skunks under your house in the crawlspace.
I lived in Cleveland, Ohio for 6 years. My stent in Pergatory.

We had so many skunks; it was so bad. No shooting in the city limits at all.

I talked to some of my neighbors and they said that the early Clevelanders brought in skunks to get rid of the rat problem that was plaiging the city. WOW, Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face!

1 or 2 nights a week, our house got "hit".

I am glad we do not live there any more.

In that case, I'd use a .22, and have a plastic toy Cap Gun handy for when the cops showed up..

"Oh, officer, me and the kid were just playing cowboys and indians in the backyard... neighbors must have heard it.. sorry"

9mmGuy,

It is actually Parker, TX (which shares the Eastern city limit line with Plano) and my description in my orginal post was exact. Unfortunately, most folks, esp those not from this area, do not know Parker (maybe the Southfork Ranch)...they think Parker County (Weatherford).

O, I see. thats a nice area. my parents looked at a home out there recently. maybe you could try those "sub-sonic" .22lr rounds?
