Flying to New Orleans with Texas CHL

Holy Cow...if you grew up in NYC, New Orleans will seem like McDonalds play land.

As a tourist, NOLA felt more dangerous than NYC or any other city in the US or Europe. I think part of it was the Vieux Carré is a sketchy area and also a tourist area, but there's not much reason for tourists to go to the Bronx, for example.

Any city where they insist I musr be disarmed is a pretty darned dangerous place. I'll feel safer armed in the third ward in Houston Texas, than in disarmed Lake Placid.
