Thanks for the heads up. I bought three! Makes for a great gift, with hurricane season coming up.

Just saw one of these "Hard Case" flashlights - without the red and blue lights (white only) - for $29.95 at Lowe's

woot deals change every day at midnight. I think you have until then to make the deal.

Or until they sell out.

I came close to getting one. I tried like heck to justify ANOTHER "expensive" flashlight. I just couldnt do it. If I go anywhere at night I have a modified 6p with a cree r2 290 lumin LED in the car, for everything else I have a l1 digital that resides in my back pocket. I just couldnt figure out where I would use this one.

FWIW... I found a 2-pack of tactical style lights at Cosco for $19.99; all aluminum, 160 lumen/Cree led with half power and strobe options...couldn't pass up. I plan to field test its shock resistance at the firing range next time I go. Here is a link i found with more details

Thank you! I just picked them up @ CostCo on I-10 and UTSA Blvd. They have, at least, 100 more...very solid lights and an excellent price!

I got my WOOT light. I wish I had ordered a couple more.

The case is very tough and solid. I really like the red & blue LED for when I'm rooting around the bedroom and my wife is asleep. I don't ever see myself using the infra-red and I can't tell if it even works..

The main light is very bright and well focused. Batteries are lasting well.

Overall, a very good light.

I got mine this week and I'm glad I got one but I'm glad I only got one.

I agree with TDDude on the IR LED. The LEDs of color are fun but I don't think I will use them much. Overall it seems like a decent light but for the same price I can get a smaller LED light that's as bright. A smaller light is more convenient for me but like I said I don't think I'll use the red/blue/ir lights much, so that doesn't make up for the bulk.
We're here. With gear. Get used to it.

I received my 2 lights.

It's not what I was expecting. The light output is great, the colored LED's are kinda fun, but the light itself is pretty big. I have no doubts though that I could throw it off a building and run it over with a tractor though. This would be a great truck light to throw in the tool box.
