I'm not sure exactly why, but I checked the site several times each day when I was waiting.

I have a desk job and am at a computer all day long and I am not a patient person as it is so I have a real hard time not checking 10-12 times a day to see if the status has changed on the website.
Really? Serious?

You can't be...serious. Really. Can you?

How could it take a state agency, with access to all the databases, so long to check a person? I sent all that business that only I would know- employment and address history. What really counts is the criminal history, which the state should have. I had to dig up a copy of a 1979 arrest report, no charges filed. I thought, what is this? The honor system? The state should be giving me the info, not the other way around. Despite me providing my own dossier and Exhibit A I still pay them and wait. What a deal.

While I'm on a rant. Anyone else wonder how it became accepted that the Federal Govt gives 2nd Amendment rights but the state takes it away then rents it back to us?

I find I am checking it 2-3 times a day. I could probably save myself and wait to check until I am at around the 45 day mark, since I highly doubt I will see a status change before that time. But I don't wait....Day 35 and checking.
