Please note that I said that it is a "letter" writing campaign not an email writing campaign. I spoke with someone from the NRA and he told me that they place very little weight on emails but letters are given more attention. For example, imagine 1000 of us wrote emails to a congressman. His aide would wiggle his finger 1000 times to send us 1000 "canned" responses. However, I invite you to imagine if we sent 1000 actual letters, the congressman himself/herself would be tripping over that big pile of letters while coming in to the office in the morning. That knee high pile of letters cannot be ignored.

So, I beseech you, beg you, and supplicate myself before you to please (pretty please) write real letters to your congressman.
