'your second amendment is showing' is perfect.

It's a polite yet stealthy way to let someone know they need to fix something.

I like the "yer 2nd Amendment is showin'" but I would only say something if it was in a more or less private circumstance where nobody else would overhear it.

If I saw someone was "Showing" I would politely tell them "Hey, you got a Concealed Handgun Permit right? your "showing" friend."

...OR, maybe make eye contact, pat your side where your CC rests and then go and MYOB.

I saw a guy riding a motorcycle once and his shirt was blowing up exposing what looked like his XD. I pulled up beside him and said "excuse me, but you're showing." He thanked me and fixed his shirt by pulling over and tucking it in.

I had kinda hoped someone would reply to my OP with "hey that was me" but I guess I was being overly optimistic.

I see a lot of folks write "concealed is concealed" on this board, but I guess stuff happens. Or we should consider deep concealment if we really want to keep from accidentally showing our 2nd Amendment. Of course, there is a trade off between concealment and being able to rapidly deploy a pistol. To each his/her own I suppose.

Lastly, I did some searching and answered (I think) one of my original questions, regarding impersonating a LEO. It appears that if you are trying to make someone think you might be LEO, then you're impersonating. So I guess wearing an FBI ballcap and SWAT t-shirt with my CHL badge around my neck is out. Too bad.

Thanks for all the posts. Nice back-and-forth.

I had a friend tell me once:
"A true friend will tell you when you have a bugger in your nose"

With this thought in mind, I think I would use the your 2nd ammendment is showing comment and move on.

I would probably just keep on keeping on and not say a word. I would keep an eye on the old guy in case he decided to blast someone. I sure would hate to be in the line of fire while his old eyes try to focus and bring both bad guys into one image.

How about saying, "Looks like you're printing" with a slight motion toward that area of the person's body (unless it's a SmartCarry) :???: If they have a CHL, they'll understand. If they don't, they probably won't and you probably don't want to stay around that person. Don't stop to chat, just say it as you are casually walking by ... no big deal ... no confrontaion ... no need to get a reply ... just keep moving.

All jocularity aside...how do you know that the guy/gal is legally carrying? Do you really want to bring it up unless they are wearing their CCW sash?
