This whole thing borders on the insane. Tell me how aiming through a sight to shoot at someone is ok, but having a bible verse on it is not. You can kill them, but don't have this tiny engraved lettering on the scope while you do it. Do they not yell praise to Allah every time they blow themselves and a bunch of innocent people around them up? Are they having meetings to determine if that is hurting the feelings of the dead? :banghead:
I personally just wish we could all get along, but it's getting so anything that has to do with the Christian faith is treated like it is Satan Worship instead. No, actually Satan Worship is more accepted these days. Right is being turned into Wrong and when we go too far with that, what will happen to our nation, our world? I guess this is off subject. I get carried away. :rules:

This really makes me want to sell my Aimpoint and get a Trijicon. It has to have the "Secret Jesus Code" though or I'm not interested. I wonder if I can special order it with my favorite verse instead? For what those dudes cost, it ought to.

Hey TexasGal, that "Right is Wrong and Wrong is Right" bit was foretold in the Bible so take heart, Christians know the ending and we win!

I kinda screwed up and posted this in another thread, but why does that not stop me, right???

I didn't hear about this till this morning...So I went to go check it out, and sure enough...

ACOG___-HBW11:1

The serial number just happens to be one of my favorite biblical verses...There is a coincidence that is inspiring in a way...

So without breaking a general rule of thumb in the forum regarding religious posting, I'll leave it at that...

I'm not a Christian but I'd get one now just because it seems to bother people.

I'd want Deuteronomy 20:10-16 I think.

I wonder if these folks would be offended, if Trijicon
put Hezekiah 6:17 on all their scopes? .

Nobody cared until those fools who raised the stink brought it up. To me, even as a Christian, it's not about the insult to faith that they've perpetrated. It's about the fact that they have created a very real tactical and strategic problem, which may result in more American deaths, where there was no problem before.

Yep. I was trying to figure that one out... ...and then I realized there is no such book! :smilelol5:

Please, don't anybody tell Michael "Mikey" Weinstein and ABC News about it, or we're going to start hearing about the separation of church and fries.
I didn't know this. I LOVE  In 'N Out Burgers. Anyone of you fellow Native Texans who hasn't at least been as far west as Arizona to try one of these doesn't know what you're missing. I like Whataburger and all. But nothing and I mean NOTHING beats an In 'N Out burger. Best fast food hamburger. Ever. Period.

OK, now back to your regularly scheduled thread topic. While I drool some more thinking about a double double with cheese and grilled onions

+10 billion. As I was reading this thread and saw the words n and out burger, I immediately thought back to when I ate there. The only reason I would go to california again is to have one of those burgers. Man, I am

I'm obviously ignorant here, how does it cause a problem?
I mean if some bloggers get their knickers in a twist, so what?
if inebriated, I might actually admit to agreeing with some of them liberal bloggers about some things, but this is so far off the radar, the cognitive dissonance hurts.

I'm obviously missing something, so can someone fill lil' ole me in?

:roll: {SIGH}

The rules of engagement have changed dramatically. Instead of killing those who are sworn to kill us (formerly called the enemy), the new thinking is to show them that we are really nice guys and love 'em to pieces. In so doing, the former enemy will see our turned cheek; quit shouting allahu akbar and throwing bombs, and love us in return.

What's not to understand?

That didn't work for me to get girls in high school, why would it work in warfare?

I'm one of these weirdos that thinks we shouldn't go to war unless we are prepared to lay waste to an enemy and their lands, but I guess I'm just oldschool.

You're not weird. That's how it's supposed to go.

To quote the venerable Rush L., "The purpose of the military is to kill people and break things.". The way I see it, if our guys can kill more of the enemy and break more of their stuff, our society gets to continue. If not, then we get to be on the receiving end of Deuteronomy 20:10-20.

If anyone thinks that can't happen to the good ole U. S. Of A., they are a fool. History shows that it has happened to every great and small society that has ever existed.
