I shot the CHL test with a borrowed 26 and broke 240. No FTF, FTE or any other problems.

>but be sure to oil the feed ramp well before carrying the gun.

hmmm... I've never heard anyone suggest that before. If oil on a feedramp is necessary, I'd suggest there's a magazine problem, or a bullet shape that the gun just doesn't like.

>P.S. I invite you guys to review your guns, too. It really helps purchase decisions.

That's a good idea. Do we have a section for that, or would those go in this forum?

Great information. Purchased a G26 last weekend. 1,000 rounds of WWB arrived yesterday. Off to the range this weekend....indoor.

As I understand it, the G26 & G27 are basically the same weapon except for caliber. I purchased a G27 back before Christmas and have probably put 300 rounds thru it. No FTF at all. A bit more kick. i'm not as accurate with it as my G23C. I did add the +2 extensions to both of the mags and I somewhat regret that. I think that I'd rather use the mags that I have for my G23 instead. Online I've seen an adaptor that goes around the bottom of the mag and essentially extends the grip of the G27. Do any of you use this extension?

I'd like to try one of those G23 finger adapters on my G27, where did you see it for sale?

I've seen a couple of different models online. TopGlock sells this one from A&G. http://www.topglock.com/item/52_AG_Grip ... _19_2.aspx I'll probably order one to see what it's like.

I got one extension for my 27 and after several trips to the range decided that I didn't like it. It felt like it moved every time I fired and I didn't like that. One day at the range a man & wife moved into the space next to me with a 27 they were trying for the first time. They noticed my extension and I let them try it. They like it and asked where I got it from. I told them and then offered a trade. I would trade them, straight up, my mag with the extension for one of theirs without. Everyone went home happy that day.

It might just have been a psych thing with me, but I shot better without the extension. I also shoot better with the 27 and a hi-cap mag than with that extension.

One other thing, BTW, I bought my 27 used at the Bullet Trap in Plano and it doesn't get much love either. It has fired every time so far with about 3000 rounds through it.
